These ranch chicken lettuce wraps are proof that you don’t need bread to make a killer sandwich. Loaded with seasoned chicken, crispy bacon, melty mozzarella, and creamy ranch, they taste like your favorite salad in a perfectly handheld format.
2-4slicesChicken deli meat (or shredded rotisserie chicken)
2slicescooked bacon
¼mozzarella cheeseshredded
2tbspranch dressing
optional toppings: black olives, sprouts, tomato, extra lettuce, etc.
couple dashes of salt and pepper
Instructions
Lay out two large iceberg lettuce leaves, stacking them for extra support.
Place the chicken in the center of the lettuce. Add bacon, shredded mozzarella, and any desired toppings.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper, then drizzle with ranch dressing.
Wrap it up: Lightly press the fillings toward the bottom, fold the bottom of the lettuce over the fillings, fold in the sides, then roll away from you until fully wrapped.
Secure with parchment (optional): Place the wrap at the bottom corner of a parchment sheet, roll it up tightly, tucking in the sides as you go.
Using a sharp knife, cut the wrap in half—yes, through the parchment!—and enjoy immediately.
