Jump to RecipePeppery Arugula gets topped with sweet and juicy fruit, tangy goat cheese and crunchy walnuts and then drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

Looking for a fresh, flavorful salad that checks all the boxes? This arugula berry salad with goat cheese and walnuts has become a go-to in our kitchen and for good reason. It’s the perfect balance of salty, sweet, and crunchy, with creamy goat cheese tying it all together.
I’ve always been a fan of pairing fruit with greens, and this recipe is no exception. The burst of sweetness from the berries, the slight tang of goat cheese, and the crunch of walnuts make every bite a satisfying delight.
You can use whatever fruit you have on hand.

Want to make this a meal? Throw some protein on there. Chicken would be a nice addition or even some sliced flank steak.
Glow Notes
This salad is a triple threat: fresh, fast, and full of nutrients. Arugula brings the peppery kick and is loaded with vitamins A, C, and K, plus calcium and potassium. It’s also a cruciferous veggie, which means it’s got compounds that may help fight inflammation and support heart health.
Goat cheese is easier on the stomach than cow’s milk cheese. It has less lactose than cow’s milk cheese, and its fat molecules are smaller and naturally homogenized, making them easier to digest. Plus, goat’s milk contains mostly A2 casein protein, which is gentler on the gut compared to the A1 casein found in cow’s milk. So, if dairy usually does you dirty, goat cheese might be your new best friend.
Berries like strawberries and blueberries are antioxidant powerhouses. They help protect your cells from damage and can support brain health.
Walnuts aren’t just crunchy little salad sprinkles. They’re loaded with plant-based omega-3s (the fancy name is ALA), which help fight inflammation and keep your heart happy. They’re also brain food. Studies say they can help with memory and aging.
